Professional Crack Repair
Stop the cycle of asphalt deterioration before it becomes a total replacement. We provide the industrial grade crack sealing needed to protect your foundation from the extreme Colorado climate.
Understanding the Threat of Water Penetration
In our high-altitude environment, an open crack is an open door for property damage. Water is the primary enemy of asphalt. When moisture enters a crack and settles in the subbase, the subsequent freeze-thaw cycles create immense pressure. This force heaves the pavement, widens the gap, and eventually collapses the foundation into a costly pothole.
Asphalt MD provides a proactive solution that stops this process in its tracks. By sealing these gaps early, we lock out moisture and preserve the structural integrity of your residential driveway or commercial parking lot.
Our Three-Step Crack Sealing Method
We primarily use hot‑applied rubber crack filler—the same material trusted by municipalities and Departments of Transportation. Solid rubber blocks are melted in a controlled kettle and applied in a liquid state, allowing the material to fully penetrate and seal each crack. When fire restrictions are in effect or safety conditions require it, we switch to TruFlex®, a premium cold‑pour crack filler engineered to deliver hot‑pour performance. We further enhance this system with two proprietary additives to improve durability and flexibility. Every application follows strict industry standards, ensuring a long‑lasting, flexible bond designed to move with your pavement.
Mechanical Cleaning
We use specialized equipment and mechanical wire brushes to power clean every crack. We remove all dirt, vegetation, and debris to ensure the Industrial filler has a clean surface for maximum adhesion.
Hot Rubber Application
We utilize industrial-grade hot rubberized sealant applied at high temperatures. This material is engineered to remain flexible, allowing your asphalt to expand and contract during extreme temperature swings without the seal breaking.
Durability Finish
While the rubber is still in a melted state, we top the repair with black sand. This provides added durability, reduces tackiness, resulting in a professional finish that stands up better to vehicle traffic and snow removal than filler alone.
Quality Without Compromise
With more than 35 years in the construction industry, every maintenance and repair project is personally supervised to ensure uncompromising quality. Preparation is never rushed, materials are never downgraded, and details are never overlooked. We provide a clear, honest evaluation of your pavement’s condition—giving you the insight needed to make a confident, informed decision for your property.
